The detail, the feeling. Amazing. The photo (and manipulation?) are done so well, the shadows are fitting. Clearly, this is a moment where two people try to smell each other, or try to kiss. Probably that last one.
The leaves or what they are, I couldn't tell, whatever they are, They add to the power of this image. If you tried to capture 'a moment in nature', you certainly done it good.
The use of a blurred background that is slightly darker really defines the contours of the people which helps direct the focus to where everything is actually happening. Because of this, the photo is relaxed to look at. Even though A kiss or smell scene is something I've seen before, it was never with this kind of theme. You certainly caught my attention with this piece.
Even upon first glance, the feeling of love can be felt quite strong. Framed or in this case, positioned quite appropriately... not only does it tell us that you a photographer's background but you know how to convey emotions in your work.
Your choice of colours, materials, effects help not only the situation but the moment of which is quite tender. The feeling of longing is truly strong.
But there is something off about the lighting on their faces though, it might be that the burn outs are a bit too strong. but something about it, about that area in between the two faces ruins this moment.
And those wings, they do not look natural. They are off, too strong, I do not know why but they feel off as does the size/distortions of the models.
Regardless of minor flaws or certain areas being off, this is truly a "Daily Deviation" well-deserved!
I love the fact that its sexuality is neutral, you can't tell if they're male or female which leaves the viewer with a wider sight. And the use of nature and nude colors just shows how selfless and peaceful such a moment can be.
